Fiji Legal Conference

In June/July 2015 we travelled to Fiji.
Our delegates, presenters and their families enjoyed a week of sightseeing, relaxing, water sports and socialising.
Presenters included Judge Richard Cogswell SC, Andrew Combe, David Ash and Suzanne Delbridge. Presentations were varied and included topics including the Magna Carta, Offers of Compromise, the Civil Procedure Act and Challenging Forensic Matters.
The local content was, as usual, a highlight for our delegates. We heard from John Connors in the relation to the impact of Fiji following the events of 2006, Christopher Pryde the Director of the Office of Public Prosecutions in Fiji and Sunil Sharma the Director of Legal Aid Fiji. These presentations were informative and thought provoking with presenters inundated with questions.
Socially delegates, speakers and their families enjoyed the Welcome Function and the Conference Dinner at Bonefish Seafood Restaurant. These events provided an opportunity to make new friends, catch up with old ones and network in a very informal environment.
Our sincere thanks go to our wonderful speakers, and to all of the participants who made our conference in Fiji both enjoyable and successful.
